Rachel Usher is an accomplished Pilates instructor, clinical practitioner, and teacher trainer whose career is defined by an unwavering commitment to movement science and evidence-based practice. Drawing from a background in professional dance, Rachel was naturally drawn to Pilates through her dual passion for artistic movement, science, and anatomy.
Today, she is a Director of The Pilates League and the owner of Summit Pilates. Over her extensive career, Rachel has worn many hats—from studio owner and clinical practitioner to instructor mentor and co-founder of the Perth Pilates Feast. Her deep industry knowledge makes her a highly sought-after educator, having delivered specialized workshops and teacher training courses both nationally and internationally.
At the core of Rachel’s work is a passion for current, evidence-based methodologies. Whether she is mentoring a new graduate or guiding a clinical client, Rachel’s mission is to dismantle outdated fitness myths, cultivate meaningful movement skills, and instill the confidence needed to thrive within modern Pilates practices.

Isaac is a Director of The Pilates League, co-founder of the Perth Pilates Festival, and an accomplished physiotherapist with over 14 years of Pilates teaching experience. His career began in professional ballet, performing extensively across Australia and Europe—a background that ignited his deep interest in high-performance movement, injury prevention, and biomechanics.
In addition to his leadership role at The Pilates League, Isaac serves as the Head Physiotherapist for the West Australian Ballet, where he also coordinates the strength, conditioning, and Pilates programs for these elite athletes. Formerly the owner of Skill-Up Pilates, his unique career spans high-level clinical management, performance optimization, and community-wide instructor education.
At the heart of Isaac’s approach is a firm belief in “exercise as medicine.” Whether he is rehabilitating elite dancers, working with general populations, or mentoring up-and-coming instructors, Isaac is dedicated to bridging clinical science with practical movement. His mission is to empower teachers with evidence-based tools that enhance performance while fostering a deeply connected, collaborative Pilates community.

Annaliese is a dedicated Pilates Teacher Trainer and movement specialist whose practice is driven by a deep love for human performance and strength development. Blending a rich background in weight training and dance, with years of clinical and studio experience, Annaliese brings a dynamic, multi-disciplinary perspective to Pilates instruction and educator mentorship.
Over her career, Annaliese has worn many hats within the movement industry—from studio owner and clinical practitioner to instructor mentor. Known across the community for her strength-focused approach, she has cultivated a reputation for empowering clients and instructors alike to safely push boundaries, understand load management, and achieve true physical resilience.
As a Teacher Trainer with The Pilates League, Annaliese is passionate about training the next generation of movement professionals. Through hands-on mentorship, evidence-based workshops, and practical guidance, her mission is to pass on industry-leading knowledge and foster a community of confident, highly skilled Pilates instructors.

With a rich background in corporate management and travel, Alison found her true passion in Pilates, using it as her much-needed downtime amidst her bustling career. When the corporate world no longer felt fulfilling, Alison took a leap of faith and turned her love for Pilates into a full-time endeavour.
Today, Alison thrives as a Pilates instructor, offering a diverse range of classes including Reformer, Matwork, Clinical, Seniors classes, and Functional movement. She also runs a welcoming home studio. In addition to teaching, Alison plays a vital role in our Student Support, guiding and motivating future instructors throughout their Pilates journey.
Alison’s commitment to helping others achieve their best is driven by her empathy and enthusiasm. She delights in seeing students grow and thrive, and her passion for supporting their development is at the heart of everything she does.
